What is Sorare?
Sorare is a fantasy soccer game where you can make your own team with licensed NFT soccer player cards. With these cards you can participate in tournaments where the best teams will be rewarded with cards or money.
Registration
Before you register, it is important to check that you are using a referral link. If you are not yet registered on Sorare, you can follow this link to benefit from an exceptional offer: You will receive a free rare card after buying 5 rare cards at the auction.
To start, Sorare asks you for your 3 favorite clubs. This will influence the type of common card you will receive: Take your time to choose your 3 clubs. Ideally you should choose 3 clubs with good players and in 3 different leagues. Then, you can immediately receive your 12 free common cards by completing simple challenges, and thus participate in your first online competitions, for free (with the common cards)
Do you want to earn money or rare cards?
Then you will have to buy your first limited cards to play competitions
How to deposit money at Sorare
It is recommended to use your credit card directly for auctions or immediate purchases (because 0 commission). If you absolutely want to deposit money directly on Sorare, you have several solutions:
· Via RAMP (without any fees)
· Via your wallet where you already have ETH (Binance, Metamask, Kraken...)
Beware, there may be quite high gas fees (transaction fees).
Now you will want to buy players, but where to start? It is important at this point to stop and work on your strategy:
What do you want to do on Sorare? Do you want to buy and sell cards? Do you want to build a highly competitive team? Do you want to collect as many cards as possible?
Take the time to think about it, and set your goals!
Build your team on Sorare
A Sorare team is composed of 5 players: a goalkeeper, a defender, a midfielder, an attacker and an extra (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or attacker).
There are 4 types of cards more or less rare:
-Super rare (blue) : 10 copies availableive at the beginning, they are not exchangeable and have no value
- Limited (Yellow) 1000 copies available
- Rare (red): 100 copies available
Super rare (blue) : 10 copies available
- Unique (Black) : 1 available
There are several points to look at when looking for a player:
Is he a starter? Is he injured? What is his average score on his last 5 games? last 15 games? last 40 games? Is the player likely to be transferred to a major league?
With Sorare data, you can analyze all these data. We will come back to this later
Buy and sell cards
Now that you have deposited money, it's time to take action!
On Sorare, you have 3 ways to buy players:
· On the auction market: The Sorare team continuously puts new cards up for auction, you "compete" against other players on an auction system. Be careful, it is important to check, via SorareData, the average price of the player you are bidding on and to set a limit not to exceed. Indeed, you will certainly be caught in the craze of the auction and it can happen to overpay players
· On the secondary market: It is a market between buyer and seller
· By offering direct bids: If you have deposited money on Sorare, you can offer other managers amounts or exchanges for their cards directly.
By clicking on your nickname in Sorare and on direct offer or directly from the player's card.
I advise you to start with the auction to get your free card. This free card can have a high market value with very good ratings, if you sell it it can cover your expenses in the auction or a part of it. If you want to keep it, you can benefit from the player's good grades.
