In order to get started with Sorare and to understand how it works, you should first know the different terms used in the game. In this article, you will find definitions and explanations of the vocabulary used in Sorare.
GW stands for "Game Week". There are two weeks on Tuesdays and Fridays at the same time: 18:00 (Paris and Brussels time). To access the matches taken into account for each GW, you have to go to the "Play" tab -> and the GW concerned.
There are several leagues for each Sorare league, such as Champion Europe (Premier League (England), Liga (Spain), Bundesliga (Germany), Serie A (Italy) and Ligue 1 (France), Challenger Europe (Other European leagues), Champion America (MLS, Mexican Lige and Argentina), Champion Asia (Korea and Japan.
There are also two global leagues (All Star and U23). A special league is also open every week and is called "Weekly". And finally there is a league for new managers, i.e. those who start on Sorare and one for training only (The Rookie League and Training).
A transfer is when you acquire a new player from another manager to join your Sorare team. You can either make a purchase from the secondary market or make an offer to the manager of your choice for one of his players. Furthermore it is also possible to trade cards between players on Sorare.
Auctions are a system that allows you to buy one or more player cards by becoming the first buyer (you buy it directly from Sorare).
Indeed, on Sorare it is possible to recruit players through auctions. And it is via auctions that it is possible to obtain "packs" of 5 players from the same club. This is sometimes an interesting way of acquiring players because their high price can put off some managers. It is also an excellent way for you to be able to recruit several players from your favourite team in one go.
A power hour takes place on the primary market of Sorare. During the power hour, the number of new cards offered for sale is higher, about one per minute for one hour. The power hour is indeed attractive and therefore raises the prices above the current market.
- A rarity is the type of card. There are 4 types of cards on Sorare.
- Common cards (White and unlimited)
- Rare cards (Red and 100 per player)
- Super rare cards (Blue and 10 per player)
- Unique cards (Black and 1 per player)
- Indeed, new rarities are planned soon, the next one to come should be edited at 1000 cards per player.
A SO5 is a team of 5 players to participate in a Sorare league. It consists of a goalkeeper, a defender, a midfielder, a striker and a fifth player of your choice, i.e. he can be a defender, a midfielder or a striker but not a second goalkeeper.
